A recent study has shown how the trends of drivers in the UK have changed as a result of relying so much on their sat nav device, with some reports claiming that sat navs have resulted in common sense flying out of the window.
Many drivers these days would not dream of driving anywhere without having their sat nav device firmly suctioned to their windscreen, and many industry groups and officials have stated that UK drivers have become completely reliant on their sat nav devices even though many have expressed dissatisfaction with their systems and have ended up getting lost or even getting into a dangerous situation as a result of their sat nav’s directions.

HGV drivers come across many different problems on the roads, ranging from low bridges to narrow roads. However, there is now yet another sat nav system available that is designed to help these drivers to enjoy a much smoother, trouble free journey.
Whilst HGV driver may be experienced in driving large vehicles they often run into problems on the roads due to unforeseen problems such as low bridges or narrow roads. However, there have recently been a number of different sat nav devices that have been launched to try and help HGV drivers to avoid these problems and enjoy hassle free journey.

Whilst many companies have started using sat nav devices to get around on work’s business one report has warned that they shouldn’t rely solely on these devices as otherwise they could still end up losing their way.
A recent study has been carried out into business drivers in the UK, and the results of the study found that those driving vehicles on the roads on business tend to travel an average forty two miles in the wrong direction when they get lost, and this compares to twenty three miles for road users that are not driving on business. The results came from a survey carried out by Continental Tyres, in which around four thousand road users were polled.

It has been revealed in a recent report that most younger drivers in the UK have become totally reliant on their sat nav devices to get around.
Most older drivers across the UK will know that it is like to have to use an atlas, A-Z, or road map in order to get around in their vehicles, and in some cases older drivers that have sat nav devices still rely partly on the old fashioned way of getting around and finding different places. However, a recent report has shown that the same cannot be said of younger drivers, with many having become totally reliant on their sat nav devices to get around.

It has been announced that two new sat nav models have been launched by manufacturer Pioneer, although they do cater for those that are prepared to spend a little more than the norm on their sat nav device.
These days sat nav devices come in all shapes and sizes, and there are sat nav devices priced to suit most pockets, resulting in more and more drivers turning to these devices to help them to get around with ease and convenience. Over recent years increasingly advanced technology has seen sat nav devices develop from basic gadgets to high tech devices, and nowadays you can get sat navs with all the bells and whistles, providing you are prepared to pay the price.

It has been reported that another celebrity is now in talks with sat nav manufacturers in relation to becoming the voice of some of their sat nav systems.
Since they hit the mainstream markets several years ago satellite navigation devices have become increasingly advanced, and many models these days are voiced by celebrities including the voice of Homer Simpson, John Cleese, and Mr T from the A Team. There are also many impersonations of celebrity voices that can be downloaded for sat nav systems for those that want something to brighten up their journey rather than the usual dull computerised voices.

Satellite navigation giant Mio has announced the launch of two new sat nav device ranges, which will cater for the entry level and the mid-range user.
Whilst consumers already have a wide choice of satellite navigation devices in the UK there are always new and improved ranges coming out from one of the various sat nav manufacturers that are in operation these days. One sat nav giant has announced recently that it is releasing two new ranges having recently released another range already earlier this year.

Recent research that has been carried out be a leading motoring group has suggested that many drivers still prefer to use a traditional road map than rely on one of the many sat nav devices that are available today.
With an increasing range of satellite navigation systems having come onto the market over recent years more and more drivers have been investing in one of these devices in the hope that they will help them to get around with increased ease, improve efficiency on the road, and provide them with increased convenience and speed when going from A to B.

According to a recent report one major pub group from the UK has launched a sat nav program in the hope that this will help them major greater sales.
With the current recession still underway many different industries, including the food and drink industry, are looking for ways to increase business, and one pub has decided that one way to help it to increase business may be to develop a sat nav programme for satellite navigation systems, which will them prove users with directions to its venues.

Whilst sat nav devices have proven to be convenient and useful for many drivers these same devices have been causing serious concerns for residents in a small UK village.
For many drivers sat nav devices are the ideal way to get around and reach a given destination with ease, speed, and convenience, simply by entertain address and post code details of the destination. However, things can also go wrong when sat navs are used, as residents of a small UK village have recently found out.
